President Sisi offers condolences to the government and people of Norway on the passing of King Harald V

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi extended his sincere condolences to the government and people of the friendly Kingdom of Norway on the passing of King Harald V

In posts on his official social media accounts, President El-Sisi stated: "I recall with great appreciation my meeting with the late King in Oslo in December 2024 and the warm welcome His Majesty extended to me. I deeply cherish the enriching discussion we held at the time regarding Egyptian-Norwegian relations and the situation in the Middle East."

President El-Sisi added: "I reiterate my condolences to the Norwegian Royal Family and to the government and people of the friendly Kingdom of Norway in their profound loss, praying that God Almighty may bestow His vast mercy upon the late King."
